Robinson R22 / R44 / R66 On-Board Camera

Robinson’s cockpit video camera debuted at last year’s Heli Expo 2020 – now an optional extra on R22/R44 helicopters and standard on R66 helicopters ordered after January 15, 2021.

Securely mounted in the ceiling to ensure minimal vibration and optimal field of view, the 4K Ultra HD (3840 x 2160 pixels) video camera records video, intercom audio, radio communications, and GPS position to a 128 GB flash drive.

Recording automatically begins when the helicopter is powered on and ends when it is powered off.
Video and/or audio recording on the flash drive can be controlled independently using separate switches. The flash drive supplied with each camera stores approximately 10 hours of video, and when the drive is full, the newest video automatically overwrites the oldest video.
Recordings can be used as a training tool, maintenance aid, or a keepsake from your flight trip to share with family and friends.
